Drawer boxes
Built for everyday use.
Drawers are some of the hardest-working parts of any cabinet. We offer two strong birch drawer-box constructions, with the choice driven by priorities rather than a simple good-versus-bad hierarchy.
Dovetail Birch
Traditional joinery. Premium craftsmanship.
Interlocking dovetail corners create a strong mechanical connection between the drawer sides. This generations-old furniture and cabinetry technique is durable, dependable and visibly crafted.
Best for: traditional joinery, visible craftsmanship and long-term durability.
CNC-Cut Birch
Modern precision. Excellent everyday performance.
CNC equipment cuts drawer components accurately and repeatedly in our Calgary shop. It is not simply a lesser dovetail drawer; it is a different construction method that uses modern manufacturing to deliver durable performance and value.
Best for: dependable everyday use, precision construction and making the most of the overall project budget.
Two good drawers. Different priorities.
Dovetail puts more of the investment into traditional joinery and visible craftsmanship. CNC-cut birch uses modern production to create a precise, durable drawer efficiently. For a True Custom project, we will help you decide which makes sense. Trade customers can also order drawer boxes as standalone components.
Doors & drawer fronts
The construction should suit the finish.
The way a cabinet door is made affects both how it looks and how it performs. We match the construction method to the finish and the design rather than forcing every project into one standard catalogue option.
CNC-Machined MDF
For painted cabinetry, MDF provides a smooth surface that can be machined into clean, repeatable profiles. CNC machining can create Shaker-inspired and other routed styles from a single piece of material, without the separate stile-and-rail joints found in a traditional five-piece painted door.
Best for: painted cabinetry, crisp profiles and consistent detailing.
Slab, Veneer & Specialty Fronts
Slab doors work beautifully with wood veneers, textured panels and other material-led finishes, allowing grain, colour or texture to take centre stage. For unusual projects, we can also develop specialty fronts around the design.
Cabinet construction
Precision where it matters.
CNC machining gives us accuracy and repeatability, but the machine is only part of the process. A component still needs to fit the cabinet, work with the hardware and perform properly once everything comes together.
That is why our manufacturing combines CNC technology with practical cabinetmaking knowledge.

Drawer slides, hinges and specialty mechanisms are selected around how the cabinet will be used, the weight it needs to carry and the experience we want it to have when you open it. Hardware is part of how the finished cabinetry performs—not an afterthought.
Storage & Interior Details
Make the inside earn its space.
We can incorporate practical storage for cutlery, utensils, spices, cookware, appliances and other everyday items, along with specialty configurations where standard organization does not fit. The goal is not to add gadgets for their own sake; it is to make the cabinetry easier to live with.
